Legal
Terms & Conditions
These terms are published in English. If you would prefer a copy in another language, email hello@getremotereps.com and we will send one. Nothing in these terms removes the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the EEA country where you live.
1. Who these terms are with
These terms are an agreement between you and MARTECHSOL LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16554162, whose registered office is at 2 Frederick Street, Kings Cross, London WC1X 0ND, United Kingdom. We trade as Get Remote Reps. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that company, and "you" means the person taking part.
By submitting an application you confirm you have read and accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Who can take part
To take part you must:
- be aged 18 or over;
- be resident in a country in the European Economic Area;
- have a smartphone and an email address you check;
- be able to hold a Wise or Revolut account in your own name; and
- apply as yourself, once. One membership per person.
You do not need to be a student. Many of our members are, but it is not a requirement and it does not affect your chances.
3. Applying, and acceptance
Applying is free and takes about two minutes. A person reviews every application and we will email you within five working days, whether or not you have been accepted.
Acceptance is not guaranteed. We keep a balanced mix of members, so whether we can take you depends on who is already taking part and what our customers need at the time. Being declined is not a judgement about you, and you are welcome to apply again later.
There is no contract between us until we email you to confirm your membership.
4. How the programme works
- Once a month we email you a link to that month's set of questions.
- It usually takes ten to fifteen minutes and works on any modern smartphone.
- You have 14 days from the date of the email to complete it.
- You can complete it whenever you like within that window. There are no fixed hours.
- Occasionally we offer a longer optional survey. Those are always paid separately and in addition to the monthly amount. You are free to decline them.
5. Payment
For every month you complete, you are paid the equivalent of €25. This is guaranteed for a completed month — it is not an estimate, an average, or a maximum.
- Payment is sent within 7 days of you completing that month's questions.
- Payment is made to the Wise or Revolut account you give us, in your own name. We do not pay to third-party accounts.
- Amounts shown in local currency on our website are the euro equivalent at a rate we set and review quarterly. The euro amount is the reference. Small differences between the displayed figure and the amount received can arise from your provider's own conversion.
- We pay the transfer costs on our side. Your provider may apply its own charges, which we do not control.
If a payment does not arrive within 7 days, email us and we will trace it. Payment you have already earned is yours even if you leave the programme, and even if we close it.
6. Missed months
If you do not complete a month within the 14-day window, you are not paid for that month. That is the only consequence. You are not penalised, you do not lose earlier payments, and you remain a member. The next month's email arrives as normal.
If you miss six consecutive months, we may close your membership to keep our member list accurate. We will email you first, and you can reactivate by replying.
7. Answering honestly
The only thing we genuinely need from you is honest answers. Data that does not reflect what people actually think is worthless to us and to our customers.
So you agree not to:
- give answers you know to be false, or answer at random to finish quickly;
- use automated tools, scripts or AI to generate answers;
- hold more than one membership, or apply using someone else's identity;
- share your account or your monthly link with anyone else.
We use statistical quality checks to spot answers given at random or by automation. If we believe a month's answers were not genuine we may withhold payment for that month. We will tell you why, and you can dispute it by replying to that email — a person will look at it again.
8. Identity verification
We never ask for identity documents on our public website. If you are accepted, you will complete a one-time identity check in a secure signed-in session through our verification provider. This confirms you are a real, unique person of eligible age, which is what lets us guarantee payment and prevent duplicate accounts.
We receive only a pass or fail result and a reference number. We never see or store your document number, and we never store a copy of your document. See the Privacy Policy for details.
We may withhold payment until verification is complete. If verification cannot be completed, we will explain why and any payment already earned will still be sent.
9. Your answers and what we do with them
You grant us the right to use your answers, combined with those of other members and stripped of anything identifying you, to produce aggregated results for our customers.
Customers receive aggregated data only. They do not receive your name, email address or telephone number. We do not sell your contact details to anyone, ever.
10. We never charge you
Taking part is free. We will never ask you to pay a fee, a deposit, a processing charge or an administration cost, at any stage. We will never ask you to receive, hold or forward money, parcels or goods for us.
If anyone contacts you claiming to be Get Remote Reps and asks for any of these things, it is not us. Please report it to hello@getremotereps.com.
11. Leaving
You can leave at any time by emailing us. There is no notice period, no exit process and no reason required. We will confirm within five working days, stop sending you monthly emails, and delete your personal data in line with the retention schedule.
Any payment you have already earned will still be sent.
12. Suspension and removal
We may suspend or end your membership if:
- you break section 7 or section 2 of these terms;
- identity verification cannot be completed;
- we are required to by law; or
- you miss six consecutive months, as described in section 6.
We will always tell you why, in writing, and you may dispute the decision by replying. Except where we are legally prevented, payment you have already earned will be sent even if your membership ends.
13. Availability of the service
We aim to keep the service running but we do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue the programme. If we discontinue it, we will give members at least 30 days' notice by email and pay everything earned up to the closing date.
We do not guarantee that a survey will be available to you in any given month, or that you will remain eligible for every survey.
14. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, for loss caused by something outside our reasonable control, or for delays caused by your bank or payment provider.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
Where our liability can lawfully be limited, it is limited to the total amount we have paid you in the twelve months before the event, or €250, whichever is greater.
15. Tax
Payments are made to you gross. Whether you owe tax on them depends on your personal circumstances and the country where you live, and it is your responsibility to declare them if required. We cannot give tax advice. On request we will provide a statement of what we have paid you.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will email every member at least 30 days before it takes effect and update the version and date at the top of this page.
If you do not accept a change, you may leave before it takes effect and keep everything you have earned. Continuing to take part after the date of the change means you accept the updated terms.
17. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer living in the European Economic Area, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings against us in the courts of that country. If you live in the United Kingdom, you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or in the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
Please contact us first — most issues are settled quickly and informally, and we would rather fix something than argue about it.
If we cannot resolve it and you live in the EEA, the European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net) gives free advice on cross-border disputes with traders outside your country: ECC-Net. We do not currently subscribe to a certified alternative dispute resolution scheme. If that changes, we will name the scheme here.
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
